Applicants for Academic Mentorship

Academic mentoring is a program designed to help students learn the material and meet academic requirements, while imparting effective study skills.
The mentoring is personal and tailored to the specific needs of each student.

Who can request tutoring? Any student of Ono Academic College.

Who are the tutors? Tutors are outstanding students studying in the same program as the student requesting tutoring.

When should you apply for tutoring? We recommend starting at the beginning of the semester to allow for a thorough learning process. In any case, you must apply for tutoring by mid-semester. We will have difficulty responding to applications received at a later date. Applications for individual tutoring can be submitted up to one month before the exam period.

How long will it take to get a mentor? Since the service also depends on the number of students who can and are willing to be mentors, we cannot commit to the exact timeframe for the mentorship to begin, but we promise to make every effort in this matter.

Is there a fee for this service? The academic tutoring service is significantly subsidized by Ono Academic College. Mentors receive a stipend for their mentoring hours. Students who participate in the mentoring program pay 500 NIS for 30 hours of mentoring spread over an entire semester (two hours per week).

For group tutoring, the service will be provided free of charge to eligible students.
