Multicultural Calendar

Greetings to the Ono Academic College community.

As part of the "Bridges" project for multicultural bridging leadership on the Haifa campus, a group of students put together a multicultural calendar.

The calendar includes key dates noted by the various communities in Israel as well as by the international community, as well as a brief description of the history and customs of these dates.

We highly recommend installing the calendar in the calendar app you use every day.

This small but important addition of basic awareness and information about the holidays of all communities in Israel contributes to the practical implementation of the vision of a multicultural campus where every student, from every culture, feels safe and at home.

The calendar is organized as events in ICS file format. It can be installed as an additional calendar separate from the main calendar you use. Installation instructions are detailed below.

The authorities of the judiciary in Israel are divided between the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court serves as an appellate instance for judgments of the District Courts in Israel, and as a High Court of Justice. When sitting as a High Court of Justice, it hears appeals against the decisions of the District Courts, the Magistrates Courts and the Religious Courts. There are three types of appeals: the High Court of Justice, District Courts and Magistrate Courts.

The powers of the judiciary are influenced by the changes in the powers of the investigative authorities and the prosecuting authorities, in order to allow scrutiny and expansion on the history of the judiciary and its influence in the State of Israel.
