Student Guide: Obtaining Your Academic Email and Logging into Yedion

This guide provides instructions for obtaining your academic email address and then using it to log into the Ono Academic Campus student information system (Yedion).

Important: Your official academic email address ends with: @365.ono.co.il

Part 1: How to Get Your Academic Email Address

  1. Go to the Website: Enter the Ono Academic Campus website at: ono.ac.il/eng
  2. Navigate to the Student Portal: In the top navigation bar, click on 'Personal Area' and select 'Students' .

  3. Find the Login Screen: After selecting 'Students,' a new screen will appear.

  4. Obtain Your Email: If you do not know your academic email address , click the 'Obtain an Academic Email' button.
  5. Enter Your Details: In the screen that appears, enter your ID number.
    • Check the box 'I am not a robot'.

    • Click the button to finalize the request for your academic email address.
    • The academic email address will be sent to the private email you provided during the registration process.

Part 2: First-Time Login to the Student Information System (Yedion)

Once you have received your academic email address, follow these steps to log in:

  1. Accessing the Login Screen
  1. Return to the Website: Go to ono.ac.il/eng .
  2. Open the Student Portal: In the top bar, click on 'Personal Area' and select 'Students' .
  3. Start Login: On the screen that appears, click the button: 'Enter the System' (or 'Login to System').

  1. Setting Your Password
  1. Enter Your Email: In the login screen, enter your complete academic email address (including the @365.ono.co.il suffix).
    • Click the 'Next' button.
  2. Reset/New User: If you do not have a password , click the link 'Forgot Password / New User' .
  3. Verify Your Identity:
    • In the screen that appears, enter the requested details and click 'Next' .
    • Enter your mobile phone number and click the 'Text' button (or equivalent).

  4. Enter the Code: In the next screen, enter the SMS code received on your mobile phone and click 'Next'.

  5. Create a New Password: On the final screen, enter a new password that meets the following criteria:
    • Must contain at least 8 characters .
    • Must contain both letters and numbers .
    • Avoid passwords you have used previously .
    • Avoid consecutive letters or numbers (eg, 1234 or abcd).
    • Avoid identical characters (eg, aaaa).
    • After entering the new password in both fields, click the 'Finish' button.

  1. Use New Password: In the screen that appears, click the link: Click here to log in with the new password.

Tax Authority systems in Israel are a group of systems; the transition to cloud-based systems in Israel is designed to improve the service.

The Tax Authority systems include the following main systems: Income Tax, Property Tax, VAT, Customs and Collection.
The systems provide services in various areas of reforms, institutions that are not subject to VAT and also information for assessors, representatives and the public.

The emphasis on accessibility in the Tax Authority systems is reflected both in the external design and in the internal design.

The internal design focuses on building and managing accessible digital forms for handling VAT and Customs, as well as for handling business in Income Tax, VAT and Customs.

The authorities of the judiciary in Israel are divided between the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court serves as an appellate instance for judgments of the District Courts in Israel, and as a High Court of Justice. When sitting as a High Court of Justice, it hears appeals against the decisions of the District Courts, the Magistrates Courts and the Religious Courts. There are three types of appeals: the High Court of Justice, District Courts and Magistrate Courts.

The powers of the judiciary are influenced by the changes in the powers of the investigative authorities and the prosecuting authorities, in order to allow scrutiny and expansion on the history of the judiciary and its influence in the State of Israel.
