Some of the following guides require you to log in through the Student Information Portal, 

It is recommended to complete the login process for the Student Information Station.

  • What is an academic email address?
    An official email address assigned to you by Ono Academic College (for example: student@365.ono.ac.il).
  • What will you use it for?
  • Before you begin: Make sure you’ve settled your financial matters with the college, as access to the system depends on that.
  • Where do we connect?
    • From your phone: Download the “Ono” app from the Apple or Google Play.
  • How do I connect?
    • In the "Username" field, enter your full academic email address
    • In the "Password" field, enter the password you have chosen.
To download Office 365 to your computer, please follow the next steps:
1. In the computer browser, go to the address www.office.com
2. On the 'Office' website, click 'Enter' or 'sign in'
3. Enter your academic email address and password for your personal information station at Ono.
4. After logging in, click on the Home icon. 🏠 In the Office programs bar with their icon (on the right or left side of the screen, depending on the language).
5. Click the "Install Apps" button > "Microsoft 365 Apps" on the other side of the screen.
6. The Office 365 installation file will download to the computer, and upon completion of the download, you must open the downloaded file and install Office.
7. Upon completion of the installation, you must open one of the Office programs installed on your computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and log in to the program using your academic email and Ono password. These are the same login details for your information station.

English Courses for a Degree – Everything You Need to Know

English courses are part of your degree requirements at Ono Academic College. Your English proficiency level is determined based on the national placement tests (Psychometric, AMIRAM, or AMIR).

Step 1: Check Your Classification Level

  • Where can I check? Goto the Student Information Station and log in (using your academic email address and password).
  • What are you looking for? Under the “Grades” or “Admissions Data” menu, you can see the English proficiency level assigned to you (for example: Pre-Basic, Basic, Advanced A, Advanced B, or Exempt).

Step 2: Register for English courses in the course schedule

Course registration is not automatic; you must select the English course that matches your level in the system:

  • When is registration? During the course add/drop and registration period (you will be notified of the registration dates in advance).
  • How do I register? Go to the “Timetable” / “Course Registration” tab on the information portal. Select the English course at your level and schedule it for the day and time that are convenient for you, subject to group availability.

Step 3: Starting School

  • Course Website: After registration, the course will appearon the course websites (Moodle) , where you will find the course materials and assignments.
  • Online Courses: Some of the English courses are taught online (via Zoom or self-study). A link to the live classes will be posted on the course website.

An important tip for new students: It is recommended that you complete your English requirements as early as possible in your degree program. Achieving an “exemption” level is a prerequisite for advancing to higher-level years and for degree eligibility!
