Academic mentoring is academic support provided by outstanding students (average of 85 or higher) from the faculty in which the student requesting the mentoring is studying. The mentor meets with the student during the semester for a two-hour weekly session, in order to help him study the various course materials as needed and to help him acquire effective learning skills.
Tutoring is personalized and tailored to the specific needs of each student. It is intended for students who are struggling academically, or who are dealing with a learning disability, attention deficit disorder, disability, or complex medical condition.
At Matna, we believe in in-depth process assistance that enables meaningful, ongoing learning. Therefore, the goal is to begin mentoring at the beginning of the semester and continue until the end of the exam period.
Therefore, you must apply for tutoring by mid-semester. We will have difficulty responding to requests received at a later date. It should be emphasized that we will not be able to respond to requests for individual tutoring that arrive close to the exam period.
Please note: Every student is entitled to apply for tutoring and we will make every effort to allow applicants to receive this service, but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible.
Receiving mentoring involves a subsidized fee of 600 NIS for 30 hours of mentoring (20 NIS per hour of mentoring).
Mentors receive a scholarship for these meetings, or recognition of mentoring as social engagement.
During the semester, we may also offer group tutoring in specific courses, which is provided free of charge. We invite you to stay in touch and follow our publications.

Tax Authority systems in Israel are a group of systems; the transition to cloud-based systems in Israel is designed to improve the service.
The Tax Authority systems include the following main systems: Income Tax, Property Tax, VAT, Customs and Collection.
The systems provide services in various areas of reforms, institutions that are not subject to VAT and also information for assessors, representatives and the public.
The emphasis on accessibility in the Tax Authority systems is reflected both in the external design and in the internal design.
The internal design focuses on building and managing accessible digital forms for handling VAT and Customs, as well as for handling business in Income Tax, VAT and Customs.
The authorities of the judiciary in Israel are divided between the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court serves as an appellate instance for judgments of the District Courts in Israel, and as a High Court of Justice. When sitting as a High Court of Justice, it hears appeals against the decisions of the District Courts, the Magistrates Courts and the Religious Courts. There are three types of appeals: the High Court of Justice, District Courts and Magistrate Courts.
The powers of the judiciary are influenced by the changes in the powers of the investigative authorities and the prosecuting authorities, in order to allow scrutiny and expansion on the history of the judiciary and its influence in the State of Israel.
