Course objectives :

  • Familiarity with the field of trauma and understanding of the principles of trauma-sensitive organization.
  • Introduction to the characteristics of post-traumatic stress disorder and complex post-traumatic stress disorder.
  • Characteristics of relationships with people dealing with post-trauma on a sexual basis, transference relationships, reconstructions.
  • Practical tools for working on regulating symptoms and challenges in relationships.
  • Introduction to diagnoses associated with post-traumatic stress disorder.
  • Accuracy of rehabilitation interventions.

Course structure :

The course includes 17 sessions, each lasting 6 academic hours, with a training workshop in two groups taking place in the last two hours.

Participants

The course is intended for 30 professionals, treatment coordinators and administrators of community rehabilitation frameworks, with at least one year of experience.

Course requirements

  • Attendance is required for 90% of classes.
  • Presenting an event in the training group, and submitting a reflection following it.
  • Submitting assignments throughout the course that include references to relevant articles and theoretical materials.
  • Submitting a course summary paper
