About the National School for Rehabilitation, Integration and Recovery in Mental Health
The National School for Rehabilitation, Integration and Recovery in Mental Health was established in 2011, at the Ono Academic Center, and operates under the supervision and funding of the Mental Health Division, Ministry of Health. The school conducts courses and training for a variety of rehabilitation professionals involved in the field of mental health rehabilitation (including professionals from various treatment professions, professional rehabilitation workers, people with knowledge from experience, family members and others) in order to advance their professional skills. The basis of learning is the belief in the ability of a person with a psychiatric disability to recover, integrate and live a meaningful life in his community. The basis of rehabilitation work is the concept that continuous learning and the development of knowledge are the core of rehabilitation work. Therefore, in addition to courses and training, the school is engaged in the promotion, expansion and marketing of learning on the subject of mental health rehabilitation in Israel and abroad. The school is engaged in monitoring, evaluating and providing feedback on the various training programs that take place there.
